Jungle, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Instrumental Hip-Hop & Reggae.  GRIMMkEYS music creations are a combination of intergalactic orchestral strings, melodic soundscapes, homegrown dubby dub, super sonic exploding brain bass and rupturing amen boom bap drums. Passionate and inspired by the world of music as a child, he picked up the Saxophone at age 11, which later evolved into using synthesizers & drum machines. By the mid 90's, the Rave and underground warehouse scene inspired creative madness in the young musician. Marveling over the way a DJ could bend the energy and the mood on the dance floor by manipulating the vinyl, he moved forward with his musical inclinations and began mixing on turntables by 15. Collecting Drum & Bass/Jungle along with Hip-Hop, Dub Reggae and submerging himself into the world of creating music, which became his everything. While honing his practice, he set out to master the art of Turntablism, mixing and began to play at house parties, raves & outlaws around New England. DJing in the lab and performing out cured his music addiction while helping earn him a place in the underground scene, playing under the names Lokee(Lowkey) & Kato Ganj. After moving to New York City, he revisited his musical roots in 2004 and began producing original tracks using the MPC and experimenting with various production software. Currently equipped with Maschine and nearly 20 years of experience under his belt, GRIMMkEYS has reaped his own special technique. SHAKEY - Burning Man NYC, US *B day! 🎂

If you’re looking for a DJ who plays the widest range of events you’ll ever see, look no further than Brooklyn’s DJ Shakey – she puts the E in eclectic.

From playing clubs (NYC’s House of Yes, APT & Nublu) and music festivals (Bonnaroo, Mysteryland, PEX) to throwing her own events, like NYC’s Warper Party, DJ Shakey (aka Julie Covello) has always been at the center of musical creativity.

But that’s not all – she’s a regular DJ at Nevada’s annual Burning Man gathering and a longtime DJ for presidential/mayoral candidate Andrew Yang. In her 26 years on the decks, she’s spun radio gigs, private creative events, and roller discos. She was an early pioneer of controllerism and has been at the forefront of the live electronic-music revolution. And as a remixer/producer, she’s been busy in the studio, so… stay tuned for her upcoming artist EP of all-original music.

Want more? She gives back to the community through teaching. She’s served as an Ableton Live instructor, an audio-production teacher at the Lower East Side Girls Club, and a DJ teacher at the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. Oh, and she owns over 10,000 pieces of vinyl in her record collection.

DARKSTRANGER - Gravity, Jamaica, NYC.

Philosophy Professor by day, hardcore raver by night, The Dark Stranger started raving at NYC parties in the early 90s. Influenced by hip hop, industrial, dancehall, punk, house, techno and jungle, he started MCing at Konkrete Jungle and Jungle Nation in '95 as MC Whizz, before moving to the UK for a few years and then Japan for five years after that. Transitioning  to DJing as the Dark Stranger, he was part of the Gravity Crew that helped to introduce old skool jungle to Tokyo. Now after a decade helping behind the scenes with NYC techno and drum and bass raves, The Dark Stranger has returned to being up front at parties, mixing amen breaks, hardstep, and liquid jungle/drum and bass for your listening pleasure.
