Professional DJ, Producer, Promoter, Label Owner. Born in Ireland to a London Mum, raised by a Dublin Dad, influenced by everything from Funk, House, Hip Hop, to Jungle +, a la Levan, Vega, Rider, Dollard +, Paul got his start in Den's Malaga, Spain playing Soul, Funk, House, Techno +, in '89, Then Gardening Club, Temple Bar & Power FM Dublin, in '94 & then immigrated to & DJed Drum n Bass in San Francisco U.S, then headed to NYC in '95 with the Lunar crew & DJ Dara & helped start Jungle Nation the 1st Saturday Night weekly from '95 - 99. Paul C loves to serve a flavorful, wild style, crowd reading, rude rolling, dutty delivery of dance floor damage D&B+ C?!.
Paul has made a living as a DJ, curator, agent, promoter + for more than 15 years. After collaborating with J Grems & remixing Do you know ft David Boomah by Darkmatta & Treack, since COVID has been live-streaming & ran a 12 week, masked, outdoor, distanced, donation-based weekly event in Phase 4 of NYC opening, he is promoting JDH001 DJ Paul C 'Badboy Selecta' getting ready for JDH002, running Jungle Dub House bi -weekly events, JungleDubHouse.com and still holding weekly professional NYC residencies.
After DJing at Konkrete Jungle in '95 he was made resident in '96. Paul was asked to play the opening party & sell Jungle / D & B at the US's first Drum & Bass record store Breakbeat Science. DJ Paul C has rocked Festivals WMC Miami at Club Space, Catalpa at Randall's Island NYC & Unofficial South by Southwest Austin, Texas.
